Connection Pooling on Shared Servers Print

  • 0

Due to the nature of shared systems, applications need to play nice with others.

For connection pooling, we ask that you limit the maximum pool to 10 and closed idle connections after 5 to 10 seconds.

If you need a larger connection pool then consider getting a VPS. You can even keep your current hosting plan and use a VPS to run just MariaDB or MySQL.

Let us know how we can help you achieve your hosting objectives!
