cPanel Server Paths

Following paths for cPanel Servers:

Path to PERL: /usr/bin/perl

Mail Program (Sendmail): /usr/sbin/sendmail

Root path to html directory: /home/userid/public_html/

URL Path to html directory: www.yourdomain.com

Root path to cgi-bin directory: /home/userid/public_html/cgi-bin/

URL Path to cgi-bin directory: www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin

So when you FTP to your site you will be dropped in to /home/userid/ and you will see some files and folders. Do not delete anything in this folder. The folder that you need is public_html, drop all files in there that you want viewable from the browser. If you have further questions about your PHP web hosting, please open a support ticket.
